Emily had a great time picking strawberries for the first time at Spencer Farms. I have wanted to do it myself for years even before Emily was born. This place is literally right next door to Mom & Jeff's house. We have gone there for pumpkins but never to pick any type of berries. Unfortunately, we were a little late this season. It was pretty picked over but we still managed to get a little under 4 pounds with Daddy, Mamaw Fleta, Dallas, and Makenzie helping. It was enough to make strawberry shortcakes the next evening! Emily couldn't leave there without having a piece of strawberry and chocolate swirled fudge! I personally can't wait to pick the black raspberries in two weeks....
