Since Daddy is still out of town and we sold our Colts tickets for today.....Mommy and Emily needed something to do. I thought walking around at Clay Terrace and having lunch at Kona Grill sounded like a great idea. So we put on our Colts gear to still root on our team and headed out. Mommy had some yummy sushi and awesome salad while Emily enjoyed pizza. I am pretty much against my toddler having pop of any kind but today I was feeling a little spunky on our girls day out and she always asks.....so I did let her try her first rootbeer. Funny thing is she didn't like it anyway and only took a few sips! Good....hopefully she wont ask anymore! I didn't realize it but it was $3.95!!! She wont get one again out anyway!
After that we followed it up with a fun activity. There is a new place near Gymboree called "Color Me Mine". You pick out your own pottery piece (over 400 pieces to choose from) and with a small session fee you can use their paint, stencils, brushes, and includes firing and glazing. Emily picked out a cute pumpkin candle holder and we get to go back and pick it up on the 20th. She had a great time painting and was cracking me up with how careful she was trying to be. The have special fun theme nights...look them up online and go check it out!
