Today was the start of Fall Break. Perfect weather to head downtown to the Zoo for The ZooBoo. It turns out that the teenagers wanted to come and hang out with us for their break. We had a great time! The older girls had not been for awhile so we had fun showing them around. We ended up clsoing the Zoo down. I dont think I have ever been one of the last people in the parking lot before. The only sad thing about today was that our Walrus actually passed away during an unexpected surgery due to an inoperable mass :(
R.I.P Nereus ..we have enjoyed watching you at the Zoo thru the years!
