Halloween Night

NERDS!

Cute costumes Zoe' & Rudy!

Happy Birthday Olivia!!

After Trunk or Treat, we headed home to grab our spider cupcakes & graveyard pudding to head down south for some trick or treating in Beechgrove. Emily had a blast running from house to house with Sophia and Ava. Donna and Makenzie also showed up to walk with us some since we were on their side of town.
Of course it was also Olivia's birthday so we stayed and celebrated with her! Yummy chili, potato soup, and plenty of snacks :) We had a blast!

Meet Our Butler

It is pretty unusual that we aren't home on Halloween. It has been a family tradition forever to have chili and invite people to our house. Times have changed though now that we have Emily. Her young cousins and some of our friends live down on the Southside. So this year we decided to head down to my Brother Ryan's and hang out with all of them. We had to still find a way to give out candy to our neighborhood kids, so what better way then to hire a butler for the job!

Trunk or Treat

Plenty of cute costumes

This years favorite Halloween candy...Strawberry nerds

This year Trunk or Treat was actually held on Halloween. This was our 3rd year participating at the church and I swear I think every year there is more people. We have a tendency to run out of candy..and we buy alot! So you can only imagine how much Emily gets from going car to car. They didnt have indoor activities this year so everyone that had plans for the evening could hurry along to do them. It was fun and we were glad Mamaw was also able to make it out and spend a little bit of time with us on Halloween since we weren't going to be able to see her tonight. Unfortunately, our time was cut a little short after we were done because my babygirl fell flat on her face from falling off the back of the car :( The worst part about it was that she had her hands in her pockets because they were cold and she couldn't even catch herself. Thankfully, no real damage and her face was okay! PHEW!
This is definitely a tradition that we will continue doing for as long as Emily is interested....

I made my graveyard dirt pudding for tonight and will also turn around and make another for tomorrow night. Thats okay..I think its always a hit with the kids. Emily like the candy scavenger hunt that Amber had. Thanks for having us!

Weekend Baking...

Halloween cookies

Cajun and Cinnamon & Sugar Baked Pumpkin seeds

Banana bread with walnuts

Thru the course of the weekend we did a little baking. Lots of goodies for a nice October weekend :) Now Mom needs a break from Fall Break!

Ziplining....

Here are the Ziplining pictures. They both had a blast and loved having no line!

StoneyCreek "with Daddy"

Didn't get to ride the pony the other day

This was also broke the other day...

Not too exclude Daddy in all the pumpkin patch fun but he was working! So we headed on over to Stoneycreek one last time. But make no mistake ...his big reason for wanting to come was to bring Makenzie zip lining. Her Mom wasn't too hip on watching her do it the other day, not to mention it was busy. Today with the overcast and sprinkles...we didnt have that problem. We didnt need anymore pumpkins so we just took the hayride and didnt pick any!
