Today Merchants Plaza in Carmel had their annual Octoberfest in the parking lot. The retailers had sidewalk sales, food booths, music, bouncehouse,face painting, petting zoo, pony rides, pumpkin pie eating contest, beer tent, childrens costume contest and lots of fun activities from Radio Disney. We had a great time. Emily was excited to see that MCL had her favorite cookies and I was really enjoying Carrabba's $2.00 pasta/meatball dish. Party City had a few guys dressed up in different colored Ape costumes that Emily was initially afraid of...but we are happy to announce that she overcame that as long as they stayed away. Mommy was even happy that The Woodhouse was giving free 10 minute back and shoulder massages....aaahhhh!
