Tonight was Senior night at Carmel. We were able to walk on the field and come out of the helmet with our Senior boys. They introduced us with our sons and gave big Thanks and praise to all. After the small ceremony was over we were invited in the locker room to hear Coach Mo's speech before the game. It was an exciting but emotional night for us. I think that reality actually hit us this evening that Matthew's childhood/teenage years and his love for playing highschool football is almost over.
It was also an emotional night for all of us as we were 9-0 until Ben Davis beat us this evening. A nice start to the evening and it ended sadly for our boys! Oh well...we can't win them all!! Now were off to play sectionals.....
