We were finally able to get my "Bar Party" in !! We celebrated my 40th with family & friends on the southside at "That Place". Blonde Sonja was playing and we arrived early enough to order dinner. It was a great time!! Glad we were still able to finally all get together for a night out!

Sleeps as much as a newborn

Matthew & Alyssa came over tonight for his favorite crockpot meal (Italian Beef Sandwiches) and coffee on the porch. Of course they also brought Nala with them. I guess it's true that you cant get enough of any baby .... even a furbaby. Ahhhhh...puppy breath!

Meeting Nala

Tonight we met Matthew & Alyssa at Muldoon's in Carmel for dinner. After we had finished he wanted us to come to his apartment to meet someone. My first guess was right...it was a puppy. I honestly wasn't surprised! I figured he would have done that by now anyway. He has always wanted his own "big" dog. My only concern is that he does live in an apartment and his dog is half boxer/ half mastiff. She is expected to be a little large. Her name is Nala and she is super cute. We wish him luck and of course will be here to help guide him with her. She will be starting puppy preschool next month at the K9 facility that I took Daisy Mae to when she was young. I think they will do a great job guiding him in making her a well behaved "big" dog :)

With the kiddos in different days of pre-school and Heather & I working different days, it's really hard to meet up with the Coster's these days. We were finally able to make a lunch date while they were on Spring Break. We headed to Bub's so the kids could ride bikes on the Monon for awhile in front of Bub's Cafe and then we went in for an early lunch. We also brought a little something for Colton since he turned 4 last month. We had a nice visit and hope to see them ore over the summer :)

Since Emily was spending the night at Kim's and Donna offered to come up and get us & bring us home..we decided to go hang out with her on the southside at one of her favorite pubs for the Butler game. Since we were down close to Mike & Jen's house we gave them a call too and lucked into them being able to come over and join us since Madison was spending the night at Grandparents. We had a really fun night! I also hadn't got a chance to see the birthday boy yet since his 21st birthday lastmonth so it was nice that he could also come up and say hi before heading out with his friends...Happy 21st Nicky Noodle :)

Not long after we headed down to Build-A-Bear..we noticed that they were setting up for Minne's Masquerade Ball party. They had Radio Disney there giving out cool prizes, they played the movie for the kids, and did a few crafts too! Wow...what a busy fun day at the Mall today. Emily was too happy to get some popcorn and sit down to watch the not yet aired show....

Simon Kidgets Club hosted a little Easter egghunt with crafts today at the Mall. Emily had fun doing it all and then Daddy had promised her that she could make "hop" at Build-A-Bear if she would go talk to the bunny and get a pic. She did it...but he didn't say that she had to do it by herself! LOL

Color Me Mine

Stephanie decided to come up for a few nights during her Spring Break and we wanted to go out and do something fun! Emily's idea and special treat for going to bed by herself was getting to paint at Color Me Mine. We wanted to do something for Easter and ended up literally getting the very last 2 rabbits on the shelf! I was super impressed at how well Emily painted hers. All I really had to help with was the eyes, nose, and polka dots at the end. Fun afternoon girls!
