"Peeps" Lemon Cookies

Ooops...a peep is missing!!

Stephanie came up to spend Easter weekend with us and a little time out of her house since she was going to be stuck home for a while after her back surgery at Riley this upcoming Tuesday. While she was visiting we decided to make my lemon cookies for Easter but this year we added a fun twist. Green grass with a peep sitting on top. They were sooo cute and alot of fun to make!

Three Little Monkeys

After school today I dropped Emily off to Mamaw Cathy to enjoy the rest of the afternoon with her cousins since they were thered. I headed ut to do a couple of errands and when I came back..I found 3 monkeys in the bed! LOL Watching a Princess movie of course!

I wanted rain or shine, wet yard, or mud to have an Easter egghunt here with girls today. So everyone showed up with rain boots and we did! They also enjoyed company today when Dakota stopped by for a quick visit with Mamaw Cathy. Everyone loved the cookie that Mike & Emily made for them :)

Coloring Eggs...

After bunny cookies...Dad set-up for egg coloring. Wow what a fun morning / early afternoon. Then after clean up we headed out to meet Donna & her kids and Kim & Stephanie to see the movie HOP.

Bunny Sandwich Cookies

Daddy found a cute recipe for Chocolate Chip Sandwich Bunny Cookies in a previous Sunday paper and decided that we should make them for me and my friends that are coming over tomorrow. He is such a cool Daddy!!!

West Park Egghunt

The next morning after my bar outing we had plans to hit West Park's Annual Egghunt at 10:30 a.m. We skipped lastyear to do it at Forest Park but we will be coming back here from now on. Much more room for the kiddos. Emily barely collected 2 eggs the previous year and had a bucket this time again like the first year. They have candy eggs but also have prize eggs. We lucked out on that end but she didnt mind! As usual she wasnt interested in the bunny but had to hit the slides with Daddy before we left on this windy cold morning. Then off we went to Cracker Barrel for brunch!
