Pacer Game Night

Lights Out!

Sharing Popcorn

Emily took this pic...

Surprise treat I had for them!

Boomer!!

We had 4 tickets tonight to go to The Pacer Game..so off we went! Emily was excited that her friend Bella was able to join Us! I enjoyed watching their excitement. They loved it when the lights went out and Boomer was out...but I am thinking that they really liked the snacks and the fact that they could play comfortably in the seats that we had by the glass....Pacers lost but we had a great time!

Bringing out some "old" things

Emily checking out the stability

Oh..surprise, surprise, bunny ears for Dylan

Not sure he really cares for the camera

As Dylan continues to grow rapidly....we are ready for some new things to keep him busy. I went over to my Mom's and dug out the hanging bouncy tigger and the exersaucer. His Mom said he loves the jumperoo at home and he is now 5 months old and 20 pounds. So here are a few pics of him checking out the jumpy.....

Easy Bake Oven- "Baking"

Time to put it in....

Emily recieved a Bratz Easy Bake Oven from my best friend for Christmas and we decided to go ahead and try it out today. She made a brownie and seemed to enjoy herself but was a little bored with just mixing some water in a very small round pan. I think we do too much baking on our own and this just wasn't challenging enough :-) Thank you Donna for the gift and we will try some more recipes as she gets older!

We have been in all weekend because Emily has a TERRIBLE cough. She appears to feel fine but it seemed a little abnormal. We did take her to a Take Care Clinic this evening and she has bronchitis but like I said you wouldn't know it except for the cough and the starts of a stuffy nose.

Afternoon Full of Love

Silly girls...

Emily new hat that Aunt Nikki made her..

Mom had invited all of us over today for an awesome couples/family dinner in honor of Valentines Day combined with my Step-Dads Birthday. They had picked up Olive gardens salad, breadsticks, and lasagna. My Aunt made some type of pretty red torte cake and we brought our tray of dipped strawberries & valentines cookies. It was a great idea to also include the kids and some of us are going next week out dinner to celebrate alone no kids :-) Thanks for the awesome dinner and Happy Birthday Jeff! We Love You! Even though we seemed to only get pics today of the younger kids and one of the girls..LOL

Breakfast Made with Love

Making the pink pancakes

add..a strawberry & bacon and were finished

Daddy got a songbird feeder and Emily a Handy Manny drill

Cheese popcorn...her fav & plenty of new art stamps, stickers, etc

Some of Mommy's goodies...Daddy is such a romantic!

Roses (even a chocolate one), wine, coffee, cheese, crackers, & brighton charms

We had a great morning fixing Daddy pink chocolate chip pancakes and exchanging a few small gifts. Gifts are always nice but we focused on the importance of telling everyone today that we loved them.....numerous times! Emily had a blast saying Happy Valentines day every time one of us were near.......

Weekend of Making Sweet Treats

I think Daisy Mae is hoping for something to drop!

Heading into the oven!
Time to ice and add sprinkles!

Mmmmm....

The finished products!

After we returned from Madison's party we started right away making our red & pink-white chocolate dipped pretzel rods to attach to Emily's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse valentines for the rest of her family. When we had them finished we started baking cookies.......
The next morning all we had to do was the icing and sprinkles on the cookies, wrap the pretzel rods, and dip the strawberries in the rest of the pink white chocolate and add sprinkles!!! Now we are ready to go spread some Love!!

Meet Dora!! DooDooDooDoo...Dora!

Meet Dora!

Pop the balloon game...

Mommy is trying to help Emily and still couldn't pop it!

Grab a snowball

and throw it at Dora!

Snowball fight!
and a clown making balloon art & face paintings!

We weren't real sure how Emily was going to do at this Party with Dora coming as a surprise to Madison...but I think since we told her ahead of time and let her choose if she wanted to go or not that made a huge difference for her. She is still very afraid of characters but after the initial shock of her coming into the room (and lets face it people...she was huge and I can see why some kids are afraid!) she ended up surprising us and doing pretty well all in all! She played a few of the games but sat out of most of the dancing and musical chairs. She seemed a bit overwhelmed or intimidated in some things but not in others. Dora was even followed up by a clown that did face painting and balloons. We were very proud of our girl today fighting one of her fears and still trying to enjoy one of her favorite characters! It was a fun party for all of the kids and we hope you had an awesome birthday Madison! You have special parents to get Dora at your party.

Dinner out with the Broaddus family

We have been trying to get with my best friend Donna and her kids since Christmas. It's terribly hard now that the boys all have jobs and this was the first Christmas Eve that they have missed coming to our house in atleast 9 years. So...finally we managed to meet at Applebees on the Eastside (half way point) and had a great dinner! Emily finally got her easy bake oven and leap pad from them! Glad we finally did it! Now I can't wait till our Mom's only luncheon and shopping day in 2 weekends :-)
