My daughter really wanted to go see the Easter Bunny at the Mall...but she ended up getting scared and didnt want to do it! Thanks to my niece for jumping in and sitting with her so we could still get some sort of picture :)

Today we had a little Easter fun at our house with the big kids! They decorated lemon cookies, played with the Easter themed playdoh set, watched Max & Ruby's Easter dvd, and then we went out for a Easter egghunt in the backyard. It was a fun and busy day! Thanks to my niece for coming over and spending one of her vacation days with us and helping me out!

Emily loves making the lemon cookies but as you can tell..she doesn't always do it right! Oh well, that's what I am for! This evening we are actually only making and baking them because we are going to ice and decorate them tomorrow with her friends.

This year we decided to try a different park to hunt eggs. We headed towards Forest Park in Noblesville since they were having a bouncehouse, DJ, carousel rides, face painting, etc.. in addition to the egghunt. We like to go to the hunts that have the age groups divided up. Although this year was tough! Emily only ended up with 4 eggs! Last year she had 2 baskets :-) I think she would have had more but she keep shaking them and yelling to me that there wasn't anything in it. Silly girl ..there were stickers in those!

It didn't seem to matter much..she was just happy to be there with a few of her friends!

Gifts from Us!

Today we celebrated Colton's 3rd Birthday at our house. He brought Spiderman treat bags and cupcakes from The Cupcake Camper (outside of Hamilton Town Center Mall) to share with the girls and we gave him his Handy Manny toy & Diego Bubble set. Sorry no cupcake pics because they turned out a little messy :-)

Spring is Here!

Just a quick entry to say that we are excited that Spring is officially here and we are happy to dump the winter clothes and get out Spring/Summer!!!!!

On the Border for Lunch with My Dad & Cathy and dinner at Kona Grill with Mike, Matthew, Mom, & Jeff. Wow....I was so busy eating today I almost forgot I was another year older! Yeah right! Next year will be the big one and they REALLY need to slow way down!

I did get some awesome gifts today along with the lovely company and meals! Thanks everyone! I will be using the Woodhouse giftcard real soon and couldn't wait to get home and put my new charms on my brighton bracelet!

After the Koncert we headed over to Mamaw Cathy's & Papaw Mike's since they were taking me out for lunch for my Birthday. When we got there Mamaw & Sophia had pre-baked some cupcakes for the girls to ice and decorate. Mamaw made my favorite strawberry jello cake too but just incase we needed more she also made cupcakes! She has been making me that cake since I was a little girl!

Kids Koncert @ Monon Center

Today we kicked off my Birthday by attending the indoor Kids Koncert at The Monon Center with friends. It only lasts about an hour and it took Emily around 40 minutes to warm up and even go dance and play with her friends. I have to admit..sometimes when she acts like that I have to wonder why I bother? Especially since I was out till almost Midnight the night before playing euchre with the girls and struggled getting us bathed and here by 10:00 a.m! Glad she did end up finally coming around :-)

Kim had a small gathering at her house also for Stephanie's Birthday the next day. She had a few girls spend the night after the rest of us headed home. I am glad she had such an awesome Birthday and was able to share it with many people that adore her this week!! This kid hasn't had it so easy the past few years and definitely deserves the best!
