Today we had a huge Thanksgiving feast at Holy Cross church. It started off as my step-mom's family renting the facility and having a pitch-in so we could all be together but it ended up expanded and branching out to extended family and friends. Tons of food, basketball for the boys, craft tables set up for the kids (including sock snowmen), playdoh table, tip board raffles, poker, and euchre. It was most definitely a fun time! We were there from around 1:45- till 9:00 p.m. We took the fried turkey and my sweet potato casserole but sampled tons of other things! Thanks Aunt Nikki for helping Emily make her Snowlady! Hopefully we can do something like this again next year!!

Thanksgiving Celebration @ Our House
We always have Thanksgiving dinner @ our house for my mom's side of the family on the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This year we were even able to get Kim and Stephanie to start joining in! There was sooo much food and of course Mike's yummy turkey. We had a great family day! I am also glad that even though they got out of here before pictures...that my Aunt Barbara and cousin Angel with her family were able to come and eat/visit. I am still waiting on my mom's camera pics because I really didn't get very many since I was the entertainer :-)

Preparing Turkey #1
After Dakota's party...Daddy rushed home to shoot our 21 pound turkey up with all of his spices and give him a good old creole rub down. He needs to sit in the fridge overnight and soak up all the good stuff so we can fry him tomorrow for Thanksgiving with my Mom's side and Mike's side of the family. Emily was very eager to help him and she had a blast!
Dakota's 3rd Birthday Party
Dakota's 3rd Birthday was held again at The Fortville Memorial Park. The kids played outside and had a great time together. She had a Hello Kitty theme and got a really cool power wheels truck. None of our girls had a nap but everyone seemed to maintain very well except Emily. She was a little emotional on and off.....come to find out a few days later that she had an ear infection. Compliments of her head cold last week.
We are sooo glad that you had an awesome birthday Dakota and Thank you so much for sharing all of your new toys and truck with everyone....We Love You!!

Go Colts!!
This is the time of year when we get pretty excited about some football!! It's even more exciting to experience the fun crowd at The Stadium as the Colts continue to be on a winning streak! I was able to get a chance to go with my hubby yesterday....but even if I dont go, Emily and I have fun at home rooting them on! The bottom pics of Emily were from last week :-) The tutu was a special gift from her friend Fallyn ( her mommy made it for Emily on Fallyn's last week with us over the Summer).
